Last week in class the students close read the
introduction to the U.S. Constitution, the Preamble. In small groups, students
created classroom Preambles to demonstrate understanding. Below are a few
examples:
We the students of room 217 (period 9), will accomplish any work the
teacher assigns. Also, we will learn as much as we can and succeed in academics.
Lastly, we will help others in need, treat each other fairly, and promote anti-bullying.
Michael Jozwiak,
Jennifer Baisa, Samer Qteish, Ahmad Omar
We the
students of room 217, period 6 will go on a journey of learning and after we return
will be rewarded with knowledge. We shall treat everybody with respect and
kindness. We will cooperate and work together in unison. We shall establish a
better learning community for every student in class. We will respect each
other’s feelings and be the best class we can be.
Tom Konicki, Michelle Urbina, Dominic
Thurman, Alicia Delgado
We the students of
217, period 8 pledge to be respectful to our teachers and classmates. We will
work together as a team to achieve our goals and maintain good grades. Together
we can progress, study hard, and do well on tests. It’s time to open our set
new goals. Our future is bright and we can accomplish anything we set our minds
to.
